Basically in every version of Joomla will use http://yourwebsite.com/administrator for do some admin stuff. Can you imagine how hard to change that url to be whatever you want, maybe if you advanced in php code it will be easy to change. Benefit using this plugin is give you better way to protect the administration page of standard joomla 1.5 admin page.
There is another method to protect Joomla administration page, with put .htaccess or .htpasswd in Joomla Administration Page directory.
But for now with beautiful plugin from JoomlaServiceProvider.Com your Joomla Administration Page will be whatever you want.
First, go to http://www.joomlaserviceprovider.com
create an account first
and then go to http://www.joomlaserviceprovider.com/component/ambrasubs/file/view/5/7.html
download joomla plugin jSecure Authentication file (plgSystemJSecure-1.0.9.zip)
and then go to your joomla site to install the plugin
After installation successed, go to Joomla Admin page –> Extensions –> Plugin Manager, and then choose link System – jSecure Authentication, publish the plugin and see below for plugin parameter :
1. Key : change with your need, for the example you pick jSecure for the key, then you go to admin page will be like this link :
http://yourjoomla.com/administrator/?jSecure
2. Redirect Options : this options will be set the default url if there are error request, you can pick Redirect to index page or to the custom path of your 404 error file.
Now your joomla website will be have uniqe url, based on you create with jSecure plugin.
